9/18, 9:00 am PCA Southern Arizona Boxster and 996 Technical Session at Dearing Automotive
You may be asking yourself what is a PCA Technical Session. It is an informal gathering of PCA members to discuss and learn things not
in the Porsche owner's manual about their cars. PCA members have a long tradition of being very knowledgeable about the unique mechanical
parts and engineering designs that make their automobiles so unique. Who should attend? Anyone who owns one of these cars, someone who
thinks he might want to own one, and anyone who has interest in knowing more about these fine sports cars. This Tech Session will be hosted
by Dearing Automotive schedule for Saturday, 18 September starting at 9 AM. Robert Dearing and his knowledgeable staff plan on discussing
Boxster and 996 Intermediate Shaft, Rear Main Seal issues and solutions. Agenda will also include basic maintenance tips, window regulator
tips, cooling maintenance and fluid change demonstration. Last but not least an explanation/demonstration of the computer diagnostics
capabilities is a must see for every Porsche enthusiast. So bring all your mechanical and maintenance questions about your Boxster and 996
to this very unique show and tell session that will focus on these modern widely available an affordable Porsche's. This will also be a
social event with a no-host lunch at Famous Dave's Barbeque at 4565 North Oracle Road. Meet at Dearing Automotive located at 330 E Fort
Lowell Rd (Ft Lowell and Fontana/east of Stone Avenue) at 9 AM. Coffee and water will be provided during the Tech Session. The tech
session will end around 11:30 AM. We will then meet for lunch at Famous Dave's. Please sign-up on the website to make a no-host lunch
reservation.
9/21, 7 pm Board Meeting
All club members are welcome to
come to board meetings. If you have ideas for events or want to become more involved in planning
or running events, then come on out.

9/25 - 9/26, Driver's Education at Arroyo Seco
This year's September DE will be held at Arroyo Seco in Deming, New Mexico.
We expect cars from at least three states to participate on this marvelous raceway.
We always get lots of track time, and have a great time socializing in the evenings.
Register on or before September 23rd to receive the discounted price of $220 for
two days and $130 for one day. September 24th, the prices are $240 and $140 respectively.
Your payment must be received before September 23, 2010.

Wanted: Webmaster
Our website is one of the primary communication tools for the club and it is time to find a new webmaster and form a new website committee.
Jill Davis-Curtis and Carl Curtis will be stepping down from the webmaster duties at the end of the year.
Do you have website maintenance and/or construction skills? If you do have skills, please consider volunteering to be a
member of the website committee. We are hoping to form the new website committee no later than August 2010. Jill and
Carl will provide training and mentoring to guarantee your success in 2011.
