Today is Mar 10

3/13, Autocross at Pinal Air Park
Yes, we're going back to Pinal!
This is a very fun track, just a little north of Tucson. The track is 1.2 miles long, with 13 turns and two bumps. We usually go in the clockwise direction. This is not a race and no timing will be done until the afternoon timed laps. Each person can work on improving their skill level while having tremendous fun.

3/27, Parker Canyon Lake Tour
Saturday March 27 will be a beautiful day for a picnic. Please join the folks from the Southern Arizona Region on a drive from Tucson to Parker Canyon Lake in the rolling hills of southern Arizona.

When you go south on Kolb Road there is a frontage road just before the intersection with I 10. Turn right for about 1/4th mile to the gas station. We will leave from there for Parker Canyon Lake at 10 AM. We head east on I 10 and then turn right on State 83 which goes all the way to the lake . There will be a leisurely pit stop in Sonoita before heading south along paved twisty roads. If we we drive at a reasonable pace we should arrive at Parker Canyon Lake between 11:30 and noon. We will meet our contingent from Sierra Vista at the lake. Please bring you own gourmet picnic.

At the present time the plans are to picnic at the tables by the marina and store or we may use the Rock Bluff campground. There is a bar-b-que pit if you are so inclined. After gorging ourselves on delicacies for an hour or so we will head for Elgin to visit two top rated wineries. Check them out at Keif-Joshua Vineyards and Wilhelm Family Vineyards.

Please sign up soon so I will know who is going to enjoy this marvelous day.

4/06, 6:30 pm Membership Meeting
The membership meeting will be at Mimi's Cafe at the eastside location, 120 South Wilmot Road, at the southwest corner of Wilmot and Broadway in Tucson [MAP]. Order dinner if you like, and hear about upcoming and recent events.
