A small but enthusiastic group managed to clean up our section of Roadway on Saturday, October 11, in just under two hours. Although Jan could not attend, our man Carl, as ever, was the stalwart, urging waver signing, passing out donuts and safety vests in equal numbers. Starbucks coffee helped us get up for the event too. As usual, we divided into two groups, one Eastbound and Westbound. This allows for some catcalling, cajoling and general tomfoolery at the midway meeting point. The highlight of the Eastbound group was the "trash" at the N. First Avenue end. The Westbound group has yet to reveal their treasure. Perhaps it will become a door prize in the near future. In order get an early handle on this I suggest that you talk to Ken(not quite a member yet), who may have the inside story.

Fashionable vests, coffee with donuts and smiles abound. This group really enjoys a challenge. Just look at the pile of trash they picked up in two hours.
